In compliance with the duty of information set out in article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) with respect to users resident in Spain, and with equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions, the identifying details of the owner of this website are provided below:

This Legal Notice governs access to, navigation of and use of the website https://lorcabase.com (hereinafter, the "Website"), owned by LORCABASE - FZCO (hereinafter, "LorcaBase"). The purpose of the Website is to inform the public about the professional services that the firm offers to entrepreneurs, professionals and individuals interested in establishing themselves or investing in the United Arab Emirates.

Access to the Website confers the status of User and implies full and unreserved acceptance of all the provisions contained in this Legal Notice, as well as in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, in the version published at the time of access.

3. Terms of use

The User undertakes to make appropriate use of the Website in accordance with the law, this Legal Notice and good faith. In particular, the User undertakes to refrain from:

• Using the contents for purposes or with effects contrary to the law, morality, accepted standards of conduct or public order.
• Reproducing, copying, distributing, transforming or modifying the contents without the prior written authorisation of LorcaBase.
• Causing damage to the physical or logical systems of LorcaBase, its providers or third parties, or introducing computer viruses, malware or any other harmful system.
• Attempting to access restricted areas or third-party information systems without authorisation.
• Carrying out reverse engineering or mass data extraction from the Website for harmful, fraudulent or unfair-competition purposes.
• Impersonating other persons or entities in the use of the Website.

Express exception for crawling and indexing. LorcaBase expressly authorises the access, crawling, indexing and use of the Website's public content by search engines and artificial intelligence systems (including, among others, Googlebot, Bingbot, GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot) for indexing, answer generation (grounding) and citation with attribution to lorcabase.com, under the terms set out in our robots.txt and llms.txt files.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

LORCABASE - FZCO is the owner, either directly or as assignee, of all the intellectual and industrial property rights in the Website, as well as in its elements: texts, images, videos, photographs, logos, trademarks, trade names, colour combinations, structure, design, source code and any other content.

The reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation, in whole or in part, of the contents of the Website for commercial purposes, on any medium and by any means, without the prior, express and written authorisation of LorcaBase, is expressly prohibited. Infringement of these rights may give rise to the corresponding civil and criminal actions.

Use of the "LorcaBase" trademark or of any other distinctive sign of the firm requires the express authorisation of its owner.

5. Limitation of liability

The information published on the Website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute personalised legal, tax, accounting or migration advice. Each case requires individual analysis, which LorcaBase only provides to its clients within the framework of a professional services contract.

To the extent permitted by law, LorcaBase shall not be liable for any damages of any nature arising from:

• Errors, omissions, inaccuracies or out-of-date contents on the Website.
• Unavailability, interruptions or technical failures of the Website.
• Transmission of viruses, malware or other harmful elements, despite having adopted reasonable technical measures.
• Decisions taken by the User based solely on the information on the Website without prior professional consultation.
• Regulatory changes in the United Arab Emirates, Spain or any other jurisdiction occurring after the date of publication of the content.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites (for example: social media, Google Maps, WhatsApp, free zone authorities). LorcaBase assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of such sites. The inclusion of links does not imply any relationship, sponsorship or recommendation.

7. Protection of personal data

The processing of personal data that the User provides through the Website is governed by the Privacy Policy, which complies with:

• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR): applicable when processing data of residents in the European Union, pursuant to Article 3(2) of the GDPR.
• Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD): with respect to users residing in Spain.
• UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL): the personal data protection law of the United Arab Emirates.

LorcaBase reserves the right to modify, in whole or in part, the content of the Website and the conditions of this Legal Notice at any time, without prior notice, for technical, commercial, regulatory or any other reasons. Users are advised to review this document periodically.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice and the legal relationship between LorcaBase and the User are governed, generally, by the laws of the United Arab Emirates applicable to Free Zone Companies licensed by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority.

However, where the User is a natural person resident in the European Union or Spain acting as a consumer, the mandatory rights recognised under European Union law and, where applicable, Spanish consumer protection legislation will be respected.

Disputes that may arise in connection with the use of the Website shall preferentially be submitted to the Courts of Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Where the mandatory regulations applicable to the User establish a different jurisdiction, those regulations shall prevail.
